GREETINGS Our in-house TBCL Atelier where we produce all our original handmade Custom Clamshell Case division is on vacation from August 19 until October 19, 2023. We will still accept Clamshell case orders but they will not be delivered for a minimum of 6 weeks. We can still create the art for new cases in the meantime and put them in our production schedule.

Around the turn of the century :)-, we started making a handsome custom line of hand-crafted protective collector's modern clamshell cases. We design these to include embossed 'sculpted' covers inspired by book wrappers & cover illustrations like Daisy's face on the rare Gatsby jacket. The cases are finished in a selection of traditional leathers, fine cloth, custom marbled papers or Nuba® or any creative combination. Nuba® is a fine, supple & durable covering with a neutral ph that has the feel of velvety soft Italian Nubuck® leather. These case are purchased by TBCL's book clients, direct clients & the trade.
