EXHIBITION CARDS FOR ADS© SILKSCREEN EXHIBIT 1985 - Complete set of 10.

New York: Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, 1985.

Limited Edition. Complete set of 10 exhibition cards, (6.0 x 4.5”, 15 x 11cm)
Commissioned by Ronald Feldman this exhibit featured 10 original silkscreens limited to 190 copies each and finds Warhol back on familiar territory exploring brand names and advertising. Says a contemporary reviewer of the print show, “one of Warhol’s best and most approachable in recent years”. The complete silkscreen series fetched over one million USD at Christie’s in 2014.

These facsimile exhibition cards include all 10 of the silkscreens wrapped in a cream cover folder and original Ronald Feldman Fine Arts mailing envelope. The complete portfolio of works comprise; APPLE, BLACKGLAMA (Judy Garland), CHANEL, LIFE SAVERS, MOBIL, PARAMOUNT, REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE (James Dean), THE NEW SPIRIT (Donald Duck), VAN HEUSEN (Ronald Reagan), and VOLKSWAGEN. The enclosing folder and all 10 color cards are in very fine condition.
A lovely acquisition for lovers of Warhol who can’t afford the originals.
