Chana Orloff (1888–1968) was a Ukrainian-born French-Israeli sculptor renowned for her modernist works that celebrated the human form. She was born in Ukraine and emigrated to Palestine with her family before eventually settling in Paris in 1910. There, she became associated with key figures of the modernist movement, including Marc Chagall, Jules Pascin, Chaim Soutine, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Jacques Lipchitz and Ossip Zadkine
