1st Edition. Howard Barlow, 1892-1972. American conductor who eventually settled in New York to found the American National Orchestra early in his career. He then went on to become a staff conductor for CBS records as well as conducting the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and NBC radio and television orchestras. Barlow writes in part;
“Dear Theodore, to have enjoyed your friendship for more than thirty years has been a great honor ... Cordially yours, Howard Barlow".



Signed tribute to Steinway & Sons. New York: 1953. In 1953 Steinway celebrated its Centennial & Steinway artists from around the globe wrote congratulatory tributes which were sent to Theodore E. Steinway (1883-1957), piano technician, philatelist and son of Henry E. Steinway, piano technician and the founder of Steinway & Sons. One page handwritten ALS on plain white letterhead signed: Fine condition.
