Autograph letter Signed.
Montpellier, N.D., Circa 1930: R.D., 1930.
Original Autographed Letters. Signed by Author. Dufy, Raoul. Autograph letter Signed. n. d. Two full pages. Quarto. On blue/beige paper in French. Dufy complains that he can't come to Paris as he's suffering the effects of an anti-rheumatism vaccine. He stays in Montpellier because he's in need of warmth and "serious" doctors. Dufy is sending his wife with 40 watercolors of a group which he qualifies as "beautiful & new". Dufy thinks the average price of 1000 francs each is reasonable. A fine letter with trade content. Quite uncommon.
