A.L.S. Juin 1947. Good Content [Manet], etc. Nicely Signed & Initialed. Elegantly letter display to an overall size of 14" ¾ x 22", Double glazed for recto / verso. The frame is burnished gilt with touches of colour, triple matted in windows combining strong colour edges. Fine Rouault digital print. An interesting letter signed in full by Rouault & Initialed as well. Very good general content, with mildly caustic mention that Manet had only managed one religious subject, etc.
