Wrapper has minor short split to the head and the foot of backstrip, with a loose string but still a rare and well-kept edition of her second book, in a mylar cover. Some toning to the wrapper and pages as shown.
She wrote this book of poetry while her husband Harold Nicolson was stationed in Constantinople and dedicated the book to him.
This true first edition includes DHJI-HAN-GHIR For "H.N." where as the later edition was dedicated and changed to "H". Cross & Ravenscroft-Hulme A2a.
