Graffiti started in New York during the 1970’s as a response to the corruption, political and social unrest. The government wanted to abolish it and the New Yorkers supported these protests and artistic expressions of the time.
THE FAITH OF GRAFFITI explores the historical connection between this art form and the past through the essays of American novelist and journalist Norman Mailer about New York City's graffiti artists and as a book with 81 brilliant photographs by Jon Naar and dynamic design by Mervyn Kurlansky.
A beautiful copy.
