First Edition. DUNCAN GRANT (1885-1978) Sketch of "ANGEL IN FLIGHT" in pencil on tan folded paper sketch watermarked laid paper with logo of a Crown and initial K. Size: 5" x 7". Full signature by Duncan Grant and dated in ink at the foot - 1969. Slight discolouration with small tear on the right upper side as per photo easily cropped when framed. A beautiful sketch of the angel in flight mastered by the hand of the modern and talented Bloomsbury Artist Duncan Grant.

Duncan Grant was a British painter and designer of textiles, pottery, theatre sets and costumes and an active member of the Bloomsbury Group of intellectuals, philosophers and artists in the first half of the 20th century

The Bloomsbury group was comprised of ten original members:
