Henri Le Sidaner. 1st Edition. Henri Le Sidaner (1862-1939), a painter and pastelist was known for his interiors and quiet street scenes. His style is a combination of Impressionism and Pointillism. This beautifully crafted book with "untrimmed" pages features his work, written by his friend the writer and art critic Camille Mauclair. 262 pp. 2 original dry-point etchings by Le Sidaner, 4 tipped-in colour plates, frontis. portrait & numerous text illustrations. In very good condition, spine a bit faded and aged. A great example of the wonderful art of this period.
