The great collector David Symberlist's copy sold at Sothebys in 1966 to a collector [Landfried] with his plain heavy white paper protective dustwrapper with his neat hand-lettered titles & notes on the upper cover & spine - in part: "Purchased October 10th, 1966 at Southebys from the collection of David Symberlist, Esq [Rare $200]" Provenance: Nettlefold / Symberlist 1927 - 1966, Landfried 1966, Kaye [1982-4], Woolvin to 1990. [F.J. Nettleford name dated October, 1927 neatly penned on the ffe. A very significant example. $1275.
